Start with who is due, not with pins on a map

For routine recalls, VisitOpti compares the last completed visit with the planned visit date and the recall interval. It groups geographically close candidates so staff can review a compact area instead of working through a list one address at a time.

Give the day a working list before making appointments

Staff choose a provider and a date, review candidate groups, and add or remove visits before saving the list. Candidates already reserved on another active worklist are kept out of the additions. The saved list gives the team a common starting point for insurance checks and confirmation calls. Inclusion on the list is not a confirmed appointment.

Account for capacity as well as distance

Saving the worklist starts route calculation in the background. The planner considers travel between stops, preferred visit times, and how many visits the provider can take in each time band. For example, two nearby stops may fit the same route but not the same morning if the provider’s morning capacity is already full.

When the plan no longer fits

A route that exceeds time-band capacity is not accepted as the official order. If locations, preferences, or the worklist change while it is being calculated, the old result is not applied to the changed list. Staff can review the inputs rather than work from an obsolete route.
